Adam Hinton, Lindsay Ivey, David Lasoski and David Yeiser took a tour to Europe at the end of the summer semester. In Rome they saw how efficient the city was at controlling the amount of discarded trash in over-flowing trash bins by using small collection trucks. These trucks had three wheels and were about the size of an average American car only taller, and were driven by one person.
One of the highlights of the trip was crossing the English Channel in a train that tunnels underneath the water. The Chunnel is quite an engineering marvel, as was the Colosseum, Eiffel Tower and Ponte Veccio. They will share with us some of the 2000 pictures they took during this school year.
Saturday May 14 saw many CEE grads receive their Bachelor, Master, and PhD degrees at the annual graduation ceremony.
